Regional Design Centre
In 2015 a new Regional Design Centre (RDC) was opened in Norwich for the development of custom products and power technology. This complements the team of power engineers at the Regional Design Centre (RDC) in Shanghai.
The RDC is located at Norwich Research Park, a world leading location for research, innovation and business in the East of England, and connected to the University of East Anglia so well positioned to facilitate leading Stadium’s technology developments in power management, wireless connectivity, green products and miniaturisation.
The facility features a fully equipped laboratory, exclusively for the design, prototype and test of power products and is home to the UK power engineering team. It contains rapid prototyping equipment including 3D printers and an extensive suite of other test equipment including EMC measurement for emissions and susceptibility, Thermal analysis, Lifetime testing and power analysis.
The RDC in Norwich complements the wider group RDCs in Stockholm and Shanghai that focus on the development of power and wireless M2M connectivity.
