Asia Supply Chain Category Manager Appointed To Support Stadium Shanghai Growth

We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Asia Supply Chain Category Manager to support the growth of our Wireless business. Effective from 17th February 2016, Daniel Chen will join our team in Shanghai bringing proven technical and leadership talent to the company with direct M2M sector experience as we establish our market leading team in Shanghai.

In support of the wider Group strategy to become a design-led technology business, Stadium Shanghai has become our International Purchasing Office (IPO) Centre and the global hub for the research and development of our Wireless M2M connectivity solutions.

Driven by the Internet of Things (IoT) that continues to stimulate demand, the M2M space is forecast for high growth. We have recruited a highly experienced team including design engineers and field application engineers, specialised in wireless, RF and M2M technology to strengthen our wireless capabilities and to access new markets.

Daniel brings over 10 years’ experience in Sales and FAE positions at both franchised and independent distributors of electronic components to the role.

Over his tenure he had worked in America II, WT Microelectronics and Karin Electronic. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in electronic components supply chain through his cooperation with top global EMS, ODM and OEMs.

Working in close collaboration with the wireless design engineers and the Group’s global supply chain team, Daniel will be responsible for supplier selection and new product development.
